Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing quality control processes to ensure that products meet customer requirements, company guidelines and regulatory standards
- Liaise between vendor and supervisor for BOM adjustment during build in process
- Conducting regular inspections and tests of materials and finished products to identify and resolve quality issues
- Assist in development and maintenance of a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Collaborating with clients, vendors, Sales, production, and procurement teams to identify and address quality issues
- Implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent quality defects
- Ensuring that all products meet customer specifications, safety and regulatory requirements
- Monitoring and analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborating with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, related field or industry certifications / hands-on experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in manufacturing or marine industries.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or quality issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to boats and rigid hull boats.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality control or quality assurance is a plus.
